Xantho Furniture Range
The Xantho furniture range is inspired by the Australian Grass Tree (Xanthorrhoea australis). This iconic Australian native plant reproduces prolifically after fire. The pattern on the furniture reflects a Xanthorrhoea seed spike.
The furniture range was the winning entry in an international design competition for Iron Age Designs in the USA. NewScape Design undertook detailed design of the seat, bollard and bin elements to enable prototypes to be produced.
