Our approach
Every project begins with listening — to the site, to its history, and to the people who know it well. We believe thoughtful design can deepen people’s connection to place — not through grand gestures, but through careful decisions that respect what is already there.
At NewScape Design, we are drawn to landscapes that hold meaning — places where people come to walk, pause, gather and reconnect. We believe that well-designed access to nature encourages care, understanding and long-term protection.
We are a boutique, experienced studio, working across national parks and public spaces. We listen carefully and take the time to understand what makes a place distinct — what needs to be protected, how it is used, and how it will endure. From there, we test ideas with care, balancing function, environmental responsibility, story telling, accessibility and visitor experience.
Our designs are resolved with attention to detail and a clear understanding of how they will be built and maintained. We stay involved from concept to delivery, working closely with others to ensure the outcome reflects both the intent of the design and the realities of the site.
