NewScape Design is proud to be working alongside Studio.S.C and Richard Crookes Constructions in delivering the landscape design for the Tulich Family’s Independent Living Residence at Oran Park — a precinct designed to support wellbeing, independence and community connection in later life.
The landscape design centres on creating welcoming, nature-connected spaces that support both everyday movement and moments of pause. Tree-lined paths, garden courtyards and shared outdoor spaces encourage residents to walk, gather and spend time outdoors, while quieter pockets provide opportunities for reflection and retreat. A diverse planting palette combines native and ornamental species to create seasonal interest, shade and habitat, reinforcing a sense of comfort and connection to landscape.
Accessibility and ease of movement are fundamental to the design, with pathways and outdoor spaces carefully planned to support residents of all mobility levels. Sustainable materials and durable landscape elements have been selected to create a setting that feels refined yet relaxed — a place where residents, families and visitors can comfortably come together.
The result is a landscape that enhances the experience of downsizing, fostering community and connection while providing a calm and contemporary environment that residents are proud to call home.
