Efficient and low impact design
NewScape was commissioned by NPWS to project manage the installation of five pre-fabricated footbridges along the Coast Track in Royal National Park. The scope included the preparation of tender documents and project management of the bridge abutment design, tender phase and bridge construction phase. The implementation of construction works in a National Park requires a strong understanding of remote work logistics and environmental procedures. Prefabrication is often preferred to minimise time onsite in such remote natural areas and reduce the overall construction costs. NewScape successfully managed all aspects of the project under a tight deadline and ensured that construction was of a high quality and had minimal environmental impacts.
