This time last week I was up at Katoomba attending the official re-opening of the Three Sisters Track.
It was great to get back and see the finished site, catch up with the NPWS construction team and enjoy the much improved access and views.
The precinct located at Echo Point in Blue Mountains National Park has received a $1.5M facelift aimed at improving accessibility and providing a high quality visitor experience that reflects the sites importance to visitors and the local community. The upgrade includes 600m of ramped walking tracks that are suitable for prams and assisted wheelchair access and the major refurbishment and extension of three lookouts.
Channel 9 were there to cover the opening – here’s a link to their news story.
