Guiding the future development of an important cultural and recreation asset at the foot of the Blue Mountains.
Yellomundee Regional Park is located on the Nepean River at the foot of the Blue Mountains and is highly significant to the Darug Aboriginal people who use the site for cultural days and general caring for country activities. The regional park is also a popular area for a wide range of recreation activities including mountain bike riding and events, horse riding, picnics and fishing.
NewScape was commissioned to develop a master plan that would guide future use of the park while balancing the current needs of the community and the future demands for outdoor space from the nearby growing urban areas.
